I was like looking back at the pictures that I had taken during Cosplay events espeically the recent one, cosfest. I thought taking pictures in events is related to cosplay so I am suggesting here...

The pictures I taken is like almost not focusing on the cosplayers good points...like i can take a picture with actually at the angle making the person face looks distorted... So I was hopping maybe you guys can come up with a event teaching us the basics? I thought of learning from photography club but I do not own those cameras which is for pros nor have great interest in photography, so I think no point joining as I only intend to take using digital cameras. I tried researching online but I don't know which information to use...and perhaps teach us some basics of editing pictures?

I don't know if anyone get me...but its just a suggestion. :) I have no idea does this concern cosplaying anot feel free to ignore this post if its not relevant! =x

I'm not really a pro photographer but i know a thing or two about photography.

Maybe you could first provide the camera model and upload a picture to see.

Lens distortion are quite easy to fix using photoshop lens correction tool. If you have the camera model and the lens (assuming you are using dslr).

Lastly if it is distortion due to the way the cosplayer pose, eg. you are shooting someone from the top and is quite close to him... that one is gone case...
