Thank you for your interest in the Japanese labs.
Please note the following:
1. For now, this activity will not provide any SEAL points.
2. Incomplete application (did not include all information requested in the announcment mail) will be counted as INVALID - don't worry, for most of you here, you're fine.
3. Most of the information are available in TPJCG forum and the link which was included in the announcement mail. Please do read that before mailing me with any questions.
I will not hesitate to ignore questions which have already been addressed to in the forum topic >> please do have some pity on me, i'm working full time, studying part time, managing jap lab sessions all at the same time.....24 hours is no longer enough ...
===
Please do arrange a time personally with me to make payment and pick up your study materials.
If you appear without making an appointment, I will not be able to provide you with any materials; you'll have to come back again with an appointment.
The study materials includes worksheets which you will need to complete before the first session.
For those who did not respond to this mail, made fee payment and notes collection by 31 August 2009 with no valid reason, their names will be replaced by those in the waiting list.

Date & Time: 24th October 2009 (SAT) 2:00pm ~ 6:00pm
Venue: The Ballrooms, JAS (Japanese Association, Singapore)
120 Adam Road
This is an annual event by JUGAS - the literal meaning means playing games using Japanese.
If you're interested, let me know asap by email and obtain the application form at HSS office (beside TP's POSBANK ATM) by 8th October 2009.
Please note that in view of this event, the Saturday JLL session scheduled on 24 Oct will be postponed to another date. I will broadcast the new date once the room booking is confirmed.
Please DO keep me in the loop if you're attending this event because:
(1) I can arrange a meeting time and venue for all of you to proceed to JAS together as a group.
(2) Your names, details and attendance can be recorded down so that I can forward them to JCG main committee to process for awarding of SEAL point participation.
Cheers

you've posted in your senior's topic ^^;;
moving your post over
regarding your enquiries.. i'm placing it as there are a few participants in the jap lab who are around jlpt 4 or have already attained jlpt 4 status.
under the case whereby i receive 0 response for this event for both intakes (2008 and 2009), i will send out the announcement to confirm the lab schedule further. by right, lab schedule will be back to what is originally planned.

As there was zero response to the Nihongo de Asobou event within the group, Japanese Lab Sessions on 24 Oct will resume.
There will be a video practice session on 24 Oct at 3.30pm for all of you (including Fri group) to get a feel of the 'tip' I had mentioned to all of you previousl. All are welcome to join in if you have the time and of course, as usual, you don't need to tell me if you're coming or not... just tell me if you are coming. :-)
For November and December, there will be no facilitated sessions as (1) I'll be having my UniSIM exams in November while juggling with APEC related work and (2) some of you having tests / projects deadlines in Dec.
In compensation to the absence and 'vaccuum' for the coming two months, conversational practices will be done in the following manner;
Students who are free and wished to practice their Japanese conversational skills with guidance >>>
SMS me to see if I am free. If yes, we will open up audio chat via MSN, YIM, or AIM.
I'll try to plan for outdoor activites for all of you as well once my busy period ends for a 'less boring' experience.
Subsequent lab session schedule will be out earliest in mid Dec. If you need any change in your lab schedule (e.g. from Sat group to Fri group/ vice versa), do tell
Cheers and have fun.
